Eller College Undergraduate Programs rank #14 among public business schools nationwide and #24 among business schools overall in the 2012 U.S. News & World Report survey.
Specializations ranked in the top 25 include:

The Full-Time Eller MBA ranks #44 and the Evening MBA ranks #46 among graduate business schools overall in the U.S. News & World Report survey.

McGuire Entrepreneurship Program (McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship)
The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is ranked the #2 public undergraduate and #3 public graduate program in the nation by Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review, the only ranking of its kind in that it evaluates entrepreneurship exclusively and does not consider other school disciplines, areas of focus, or reputation factors.
In addition, Eller’s McGuire Program is one of only four schools to remain for five consecutive years as part of the national top-tier grouping, an elite core of 12 schools selected through a scientific assessment of more than 60 program dimensions.
U.S. News & World Report ranks Eller's entrepreneurship program #3 among public programs and #6 overall in its undergraduate business school rankings and #4 among public programs and #10 overall in the graduate business school rankings for entrepreneurship.
The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program has been recognized for excellence by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and SUCCESS magazine and is a past recipient of the Nasdaq Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence Award.
In 2010, USA Today and Princeton Review called the McGuire Center the "crown jewel" of the University of Arizona.
Eller Economics Department
In 2013, U.S. News and World Report ranked the Eller Department of Economics 36th overall, and 16th among public programs.
Eller Doctoral Programs
In 2010, Financial Times ranked Eller’s doctoral programs #19 in the world.
Economic and Business Research Center
The Eller College’s Economic and Business Research Center has been recognized by the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER) for excellence in publications. Most recently, the Center was honored with the 2003 award for excellence in the category of Abstracts and Other Data Publications. EBR’s website, the Arizona’s Economy newsletter, and annual Economic Outlook publication also have received recognition.

In a new survey of MIS research productivity administered by the University of Arkansas, the University of Arizona’s Eller College Department of MIS ranked number four for the period 2008-2010 and number eight for the period 2006-2010. View details.
A survey of accounting programs conducted by Brigham Young University ranked the Department of Accounting's research influence at #10. The department is #1 in the nation in the area of tax research and #6 for financial. Department head Dan Dhaliwal is the #1 author of research on the areas of tax and archival tax, #2 for archival financial, and #10 in financial.
The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management ranked 53rd in North America for business research, according to a 2010 study compiled by the University of Texas at Dallas, are based on research programs and studies at 100 U.S. and Canadian business schools.
Eller College and its various programs have also been ranked among top programs by Forbes, as well as Business 2.0 and Computerworld magazines for strength in technology.
Financial Times magazine has recognized Eller College as one of the top schools granting Ph.D. degrees in the international business school arena, and Academy of Management Journal has recognized Eller College faculty as a top school in research productivity.
