Eighth annual event gathers Eller volunteers for a day of giving back.
On December 5, more than 400 students and 14 campus clubs deployed to nonprofit organizations across southern Arizona.
Undergraduate students boosted Eller's reputation and their own presentation skills at a trio of case competitions in Nevada, Ohio, and Nova Scotia this semester. [more]

Three contributors have answered the call for critical support from private entities in the face of declining state funds, stepping up with endowments for faculty chairs in accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship. [more]
Management and organizations lecturer Cindi Gilliland developed an extra-credit program aimed at connecting students with international refugees living in the Tucson area: students signed on, and new programs have gone even farther. [more]
Students studying a range of topics, from classics to medicine to sustainable engineering, will have access to new, discipline-specific courses with an entrepreneurship focus beginning next year. [more]
The accelerating pace of innovation — particularly in durable goods industries — has challenged economists to uncover new modeling methods to predict performance and guide policy. Economics associate professor Gautam Gowrisankaran was awarded a three-year NSF grant to explore those methods. [more]
