Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren Visits Eller: Report by Megan Broaddus, BSBA Marketing '10
Terry Lundgren, CEO of Macy’s Inc. and alumnus of the University of Arizona, spoke at Eller on April 7. Lundgren was in Tucson to to speak at the Global Retailing Conference. I was excited to meet Lundgren because I have been interested in the retail industry for several years and I will begin my career with Macy’s in the fall. As the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, Terry Lundgren brings a vast amount of experience from the retail industry and it was an honor to meet him and hear him speak about his experience. Students Connect with Government Agencies to Investigate Career Opportunities
This February, eight Eller student ambassadors joined associate dean Pam Perry on a trip to Washington, D.C. to learn more about job opportunities in government agencies. They were accompanied by Shay Stautz and Rick Stilgenbauer from the University of Arizona Office of Federal Relations and UA president Robert Shelton.
