Management Students Give Back with Dr. Gilliland's CSR Projects

After learning about an option to work on a CSR project in Dr. Gilliland’s Management 310a class, I jumped at the opportunity to do something that reached beyond the classroom. The projects called for working in conjunction with the Arizona Refugee Connection, an organization founded by Dr. Cindi Gilliland. [read full blog entry]

Graduating senior in marketing Megan Shekleton has been recognized with the UA’s Merrill P. Freeman Award.
Marketing senior Shannon Timms was selected as the Marketing Outstanding Senior and won the University of Arizona Foundation Outstanding Senior Award.
The University of Arizona Foundation has awarded Cindi Gilliland the Leicester & Kathryn Sherrill Creative Teaching Award.
The Eller College Student Council awarded Shyam Jha the 2011 Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year for large class instruction.
Yubo Chen in marketing and Sue Brown in MIS have each been awarded Deans’ Awards for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence.
Dan Bens and Diza Sauers have each been recognized with teaching awards by Full-Time MBA students.
