Milward Named President of Public Management Research Association

H. Brinton Milward, McClelland Professor of Public Management at the Eller College of Business and Public Administration's School of Public Administration and Policy, The University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, was named the first president of the Public Management Research Association (PMRA) at the 6th annual National Public Management Research Conference.Milward will serve a two-year tenure as president of the organization.
Milward, a noted scholar and researcher, earned his Ph.D. in public administration from Ohio State University and served as associate dean and director of the UA's School of Public Administration and Policy for more than a decade. His areas of teaching and research include governance, public and nonprofit organizations, health and mental health service systems, and interorganizational theory.
The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, distinguished faculty, excellence in management information systems, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
