The University of Arizona's Eller College of Business and Public Administration is now the Eller College of Management
TUCSON, Ariz. – April 22, 2004 – Following approval by the Arizona Board of Regents, the Eller College of Business and Public Administration is now officially renamed the Eller College of Management.
This change gives the College a shorter name with which to simplify and brand its identity. At the same time, the name is broad to represent the many areas of management education that the College offers.
Kenneth R. Smith, interim dean, commented, “The bottom line is that we at the Eller College of Management give our students the education and professional experiences they need to be leaders in managing the organizations they are part of. Whether our students plan to launch and manage new businesses, innovate in a Fortune 500 company, or work for a not-for-profit organization, our efforts help to make them better prepared and more confident for the future they will create.”
With the new Eller College of Management name comes a new simple, technology-forward look and feel to create a consistent, relevant brand. The new identity will be phased in over time as recruitment materials, publications, and other materials are created and updated.
These new graphic marks will be incorporated into Eller College materials:
