TUCSON, Ariz. – May 23, 2005 – The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management will present its Mid-Year Economic Update on Thursday, June 9, 2005 from 7:15 am – 9:00 am.
Gerald J. Swanson, Professor of Economics and Thomas R. Brown Chair in Economic Education, and Marshall J. Vest, Director of the Economic and Business Research Center at the Eller College of Management, will review the nation’s current situation regarding higher prices, rising interest rates, slower consumer spending, and a stock market pull-back. Join us for breakfast and an update on these issues and more as the mid-year forecast for the State and Metro economies is presented.
