PHOENIX, Ariz. – January 10, 2011 – The University of Arizona Professional Development Academy and Accidental Trainer® have partnered to offer a two-day certificate workshop, “Influencing with Intent,” designed for managers and facilitators who want to improve their communication and presentation skills and their ability to galvanize others to take action.
The program is available on two sets of dates: February 1 and 8, 2011 or February 24 and March 3, 2011. All sessions take place at the Eller College of Management’s Scottsdale campus, 16425 North Pima Road, Suite 370. A free information session about the workshops is scheduled for Thursday, January 20. Contact Director of Executive Education Denise Schubert to register at 480.306.4447.

“Combining adult learning theory and cognitive research with practical business applications, these workshops will energize even occasional presenters to deliver engaging sessions that capture and motivate their audiences,” said Schubert.

“Participants in ‘Influencing with Intent’ workshops will walk away with practical methods to engage their audiences, transform traditional lecture, eliminate presenter butterflies, debrief like a pro, and more,” added Sheila Krejci of Accidental Trainer®.
