Eller Evening MBA Program Moves Up in U.S. News & World Report Graduate Rankings
Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems maintain strong showing in specialty assessments
TUCSON, Ariz. – March 15, 2011 – The University of Arizona Eller College of Management Evening MBA program – an 18- to 20-month program serving working professionals in both Phoenix and Tucson – moved up from #31 in 2011 to #21 in the 2012 graduate rankings conducted by U.S. News and World Report, which came out today.
The Eller College of Management maintained its strong showing in business specialties. The Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) is ranked #7 overall, behind MIT, Harvard, and the University of Pennsylvania and ahead of Stanford and the University of California, Berkeley. The department is ranked #4 among public schools nationwide.
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship maintained its ranking of #10 overall, and #4 among public institutions. The program comes in just behind institutions including Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, and University of Pennsylvania.
The Full-Time MBA program at the Eller College is ranked #63.
The U.S. News graduate school rankings are based on factors including peer assessment, recruiter assessment, and placement. The specialty rankings are purely reputational, based on ratings by business school deans and directors of accredited master’s programs.
