Eller College of Management Maintains Strong Position in U.S. News Rankings
College holding strong at #24 among nation’s b-schools; three specialties are in the top ten.
TUCSON, Ariz. – September 14, 2011 – The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management maintained its strong showing in the 2012 America’s Best Colleges issue of U.S. News & World Report.
Eller College Undergraduate Programs ranked #24 among all collegiate schools of business in the nation and #14 among public schools.
Three of the College’s specialties ranked among the top-ten public school programs in the country:
- For the third year in a row, the Department of Management Information Systems ranked #1 among public schools (#3 overall).
- The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship is ranked #3 among public school programs; this year, the program ranked #6 overall.
- The Department of Management and Organizations ranked #17 overall, and #9 among public school programs.
Each spring, U.S. News surveys deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The overall and specialty rankings are based solely on this peer survey.
The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, distinguished faculty, excellence in management information systems, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. U.S. News & World Report ranks the Eller undergraduate program #14 among public business schools and three of its programs are among the top 20 — Entrepreneurship, MIS, and Management. U.S. News & World Report ranks the Eller MBA Full-Time program #44 in the U.S. and #21 among public business schools. The College leads the nation’s business schools in generating grant funds for research. In addition to a Full-Time MBA program, the Eller College offers an Evening MBA program and the Eller Executive MBA. The Eller College of Management supports approximately 5,700 undergraduate and 700 graduate students on the UA campus in beautiful Tucson, Arizona.
