At Tech Core, students and faculty across the university work together to expand research and application development capacity.
We have learned how to navigate an entirely online, augmented workforce and actively stayed engaged amongst the societal disruptions caused by COVID-19. Our Full Stack environment deploys emerging technologies and advanced business tools to build next-generation software and services for UArizona research faculty, colleges, and Tech Launch Arizona.

Tech Core has been running since 2016 and fosters an environment of creative problem solving and interdepartmental collaboration. We hail from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and academic backgrounds, drawn together by a common force: our passion for technology.
The foundation of our organization consists of four pillars: Emerging Tech/Coding, Data Science, Creative, and Operations. We utilize programs such as C#, SQL, Tableau, Unity, JSON/REACT, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite and other applications to create progressive solutions that make a meaningful impact at the University of Arizona, as well as contribute to the technological advancement of our community.

Faculty Innovation Team
The Faculty Innovation Team is a committee of outstanding Eller faculty who have volunteered to organize and support technological initiatives across Eller and intertwine more technology skills into Eller curricula, starting with their own classes.
Level-Up Workshop Series
Level-Up is a series of workshops on a variety of high-demand technology skills including Excel, Tableau, Adobe Creative Suite, web development, emerging technologies, and more. The workshops are an ongoing initiative created and supported by the Faculty Innovation Team.
At Tech Core, students and faculty are coming together to pioneer an entirely new way of collaborating, learning, and working online. Our Discord servers and Zoom sessions have been engineered to reconstruct a sense of space to our work. Students and faulty can find each other, work together, listen to Spotify together, and share content, inspiration, code, and learning moments online in a way that feels... a bit reconnected. This past summer, in response to the mega-disruption that is COVID-19, we successfully launched an internship program that provided a hands-on learning experience to 70+ students who developed skills in Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, web development, virtual reality, and more.
