Please join us to judge our Spring 2020 Virtual Business Communication Case Competition
The Business Communication Program at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management is holding its Student Case Competition and we would be honored to have you participate as a judge in this important event.
The competition is the culmination of coursework whereby student teams compete against one another by presenting their solutions to an actual business communication challenge. One of the highlights of the competition is that business professionals help judge it. This prestigious group is comprised of former executives as well as individuals who are current thought leaders in their respective industries.
How Will the Virtual Case Competition Work?
Given the current situation, this case competition will take place virtually utilizing Zoom, a video conferencing software. Judges will be given a direct link to the required training, a separate link for the individual virtual room in which the presentations will take place, and all are welcome to join the awards presentation through a separate link. We will provide the judges' rubrics and scoring sheets through Google Docs. At this point, we are asking for individuals who already have access to and experience using Zoom and Google Docs, as we will be unable to provide training in these areas at this time.
- 12:15pm – 12:45pm: Judges Training (required)
- 1:00pm – 3:45pm: Student Presentations
- 4:00pm: Award Presentations (optional)
