Teaching the New Personal Finance Standards: CASA GRANDE
This no-cost half-day workshop for middle and high school teachers will focus on interactive teaching of personal finance. The workshop is aligned with the new Arizona History and Social Science Standards. Attending teachers will engage in hands-on game-structured lessons related to credit scores, insurance, and budgeting that are easily replicated with students. These classroom-tested lessons add fun to your teaching day and sticking power to your content.
A digital file containing all workshop materials will be shared with participants.
Pre-Service teachers are also welcome and encouraged to attend!
Participants will receive a UA certificate for 3.5 hours of professional development. A mileage stipend will be offered to those who travel 35 miles or more each way to the workshop. Breakfast courtesy of UA OEE will be waiting for you.
