Join us for a free, one-day online workshop that will delve into the issue of immigration, looking at it from the conservative, liberal, and radical perspectives. What are their different policy ideas? (Merit-based system? Pathway to citizenship? Comprehensive planned immigration?) How does each perspective analyze the problem? Active exercises will bring the material alive, and we will share materials you can use to bring these ideas back to your classroom.
No previous knowledge of economics is required. Appropriate for all subject areas and levels of educators from middle school through university. Lunch will be provided to your home via Grubhub. You will earn a certificate for 6.0 hours of professional development.
