Ken Gyure Receives Spring 2026 Eller Awards
MIS Senior Lecturer, Ken Gyure was the recipient of two awards from the Eller College of Management this spring: the Outstanding MIS Instructor Award and the Tom Moses Outstanding Student Organization Advisor award.
He was honored for these accomplishments at Eller’s Night with the Stars event on May 6.
Gyure, whose background includes almost 20 years at Raytheon, began as an adjunct lecturer at Eller in 2006 and transitioned to a full-time lecturer role in 2021. His areas of expertise include operations, supply chain, project management and business strategy.
The Outstanding MIS Instructor Award, which is voted on by students, demonstrates a faculty member’s commitment to their class and its content, as well as students’ gratitude for their instructor’s dedication.
Gyure was named Tom Moses Outstanding Student Organization Advisor due to his role as advisor for the Association of Supply Chain Management. As advisor for the University of Arizona chapter of the ASCM, Gyure assists student leadership as they plan guest lectures, workshops and corporate tours related to careers in supply chain management.
ASCM, which was launched at the U of A in the fall of 2024, is one of more than 35 student organizations in Eller that support about 2,300 students. It was also named the FESO Outstanding Small Club of the Year this spring.
