University of Arizona Eller College of Management Launches New In-Person Master of Science in AI for Business

The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona continues to expand its academic offerings to meet the evolving demands of today’s workforce. As artificial intelligence reshapes how organizations operate and compete, the Eller College is launching a new in-person Master of Science in AI for Business program on the University of Arizona’s main campus in Fall 2026.

The MS in AI for Business is rooted in more than 35 years of AI leadership from Eller’s top-ranked Management Information Systems (MIS) Department and reflects the momentum generated by the Online Master’s in AI for Business program launched in Fall 2025. This in-person, full-time program builds on that foundation with an immersive academic experience that strengthens technical expertise and strategic business thinking for AI-driven leadership roles. Students can complete the accelerated 30-credit degree in as few as three semesters.

The MS in AI for Business Delivers:

  • In-Person, Full-Time Experience: A full-time, immersive program on the U of A’s main campus emphasizing hands-on learning and collaboration.
  • Measurable ROI: Graduates are prepared for high-demand, high-impact AI-driven roles across industries.
  • Industry-Relevant, Responsible AI Curriculum: Students gain hands-on experience in data mining, machine learning, deep learning and generative AI using industry-standard tools, with an emphasis on ethical and responsible AI implementation.

“The MS in AI for Business program is designed to prepare students to not only understand advanced AI methods, but to apply them responsibly and strategically in organizational settings,” says Matt Hashim, interim MIS department head and associate director of the Eller AI Lab. “Graduates will leave with both the technical expertise and managerial perspective needed to lead AI initiatives across industries.”
