Eller MBA Ambassador

bachelor’s degree in public health, Northern Arizona University

I am an Arizona native from Phoenix. I love Arizona and am loving discovering Tucson and all its local food spots.

I have a bachelor’s degree in public health with a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University. My first job out of school I worked as a nutrition instructor for the City of Tempe. After that year I was accepted to the Peace Corps to be a healthy school’s volunteer in Guatemala. I was there from 2017 to 2019 and after leaving Guatemala I went to Cambodia to work for the Harpswell Foundation working in the promotion of women’s leadership.

I chose to come to graduate school to improve my leadership skills and apply my experiences in the academic field. I originally wanted to solely pursue a master’s in public health, but through talking to my peers I decided that getting an MBA would only further my knowledge of the healthcare field and be a great addition to a master’s in public health.

Coming into business school with a public health background I have found great value in the classes and challenges that I am facing in the program. The variety of classes and the career support I receive has been wonderful.

Please feel free to send me an email about the Eller MBA program, dual degrees, or Tucson life.
