Jacob is currently a doctoral candidate at The University of Arizona in the School of Accountancy and expects to graduate in May 2020. He is advised by Preeti Choudhary (Co-Chair), Jayanthi Sunder (Co-Chair), Lin Cheng, and Paul Michas. His research interests include corporate governance, monitoring mechanisms (including audit committees and internal/external auditing), and debt contracting. Prior to entering the doctoral program at the University of Arizona, Jacob worked in several accounting capacities, including as internal auditor, controller, and SEC reporting analyst, and in several industries, including manufacturing, mining, and non-profit.
