Eller MBA Ambassador
Tucson Evening MBA
I was born and raised in southwestern Michigan. After a couple of years of college, I decided to see the world and joined the U.S. Air Force. I served for 13 years as a heavy construction engineer, where I learned about the different facets of projects and the complexity of their life cycles. During my service, I got the experience of being a leader and managing people at different levels, in a multitude of different situations, to include four combat deployments to the Middle East.
When I decided to leave the Air Force, I wanted to ensure I had a path that would drive my personal growth and development into the business/corporate sectors. Something that allowed me the freedom to transition into the private sector and continue my education. The University of Arizona Eller College’s Evening MBA program aligned with everything I had been looking for. I can take what I learn and apply it directly to work the next day.
The program is challenging but also very rewarding. With its smaller class sizes, direct communications with faculty, and group work increase the learning experience. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and professions, adding another level of uniqueness to each interaction.
I currently work as a Field Engineer with PCL Construction Inc. Pairing what I learned in the military with my MBA experience has made for a successful transition and set me up for continued success. An Eller MBA is challenging, and it will equip you with the tools needed to build your path to success.
Please reach out to me if you’d like to discuss the application process, specifics about the program, and any other Eller MBA topics.
