Evening MBA

Bachelor's degree with majors in Political Science and Religion.

I'm originally from the Midwest (Fargo, ND) and also have a bachelor's degree with majors in Political Science and Religion.

Prior to entering the MBA program, I held various positions in sales, management and finance for both a sporting goods retailer and an auto dealership.  Wanting to shake up my career trajectory, I decided to pivot into the financial services industry by moving down to Phoenix (where my family and I had moved during my high school years) and began working for PayPal in positions that included fraud investigation, merchant vetting, and compliance.  At the same time, I realized that an MBA would drastically expand my skillset and opportunities for growth in my career.

When I compared the offerings for MBA programs in Arizona, I gravitated to Eller's Evening program, which allowed me to immediately use and implement skills I was learning in the classroom into my role at work.  The recognition of Eller's program, classes only one night a week (with dinner!), all-inclusive costs, and the Global Business Experience (GBE - my trip was to Kuala Lumpur & Singapore) made it an easy choice.  This choice was reaffirmed all throughout my two years of the program, as I worked with a diverse group of MBA candidates who have become friends and colleagues as well as the support from professors and Eller staff alike in my growth and experience.

The experiences and skills I took with me from the Eller MBA program have helped to shape my career, which has expanded across risk management practices in the financial services industry.

Feel free to send me an email or connect with me on LinkedIn with any questions about Eller, the evening MBA program, how to get a free suit when your luggage is misplaced by an airline on the GBE trip, or anything else.
