Meredith Taylor

Founding Coach, Redbird Coaching

Before launching a career dedicated to putting my leadership, coaching and business expertise into action, I served in a variety of executive-level leadership roles for Walmart. My broad ability to solve problems and lead dynamic teams launched a long and successful career trajectory, which now affords me the opportunity to work with a broader audience.

My passion for developing people and myself throughout my career created opportunities to work with incredibly talented professionals across business functions. My own roles included Vice President of U.S. Ethics and Continuous Improvement; Vice President of Regulatory and Operations Compliance; Vice President of Global Ethics & Compliance Administration; and Associate General Counsel. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to develop my leadership practice at a Fortune 1 company, and I know that it was a difference-maker that allowed me to achieve great success with the complex teams that I led.

Today, I am focused on “leading from behind” through the teachings of the Hudson Institute of Coaching, emphasizing self-awareness in order to create workable and sustainable goals. I believe everyone has the potential to exceed the most far-reaching goals and objectives and can achieve meaningful personal and professional change. In my coaching role, I bring this approach to support creation and this type of goal setting and transformational change with my clients.

In addition to my coaching practice, I am the founder of, an eCommerce apparel company recognizing the quirky, fun, and inspirational sayings my family and friends are fond of saying. To stay connected to my ethics background, I serve as an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Leadership Ethics in the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona and am a lecturer at the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton School of Business in Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility. Additionally, I serve on the Board of Directors of the Community Clinic of Northwest Arkansas.

I earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. My husband and I live in northwest Arkansas and have two sons attending college.
