Sijun Kim is a doctoral candidate at the University of Arizona. His research interests are primarily about voice and status with a focus on antecedents and consequences of voice and psychological experiences of status. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Psychology. He has presented his research at multiple academic conferences such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, the Annual Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Conference, and the INGroup Conference. He has been awarded the Stephen Robbins Doctoral Fellowship twice, the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award, and the AKMS-Samsung Economic Research Institute Scholarship for Best Student Conference Papers. He has experience teaching both in-person and online. Before joining Eller, he worked as an HR manager at a global trading and project development company in South Korea. In October 2020, he was offered an Assistant Professor position in the Advanced Institute of Business, Tongji University, and is going to join its faculty as soon as he defends his dissertation.
