Wei Chen

Wei Chen joined the Eller College of Management in 2015. Wei earned his PhD in Innovation, Technology and Operations from the University of California, San Diego. His research studies platforms, crowds, and financial technologies (FinTech). Combining theoretical models and granular data, he seeks to provide rigorous evidence that informs the system and market design in these areas. His current research projects focus on home-sharing platforms, real estate markets, and crypto markets.
