Lundgren Retail Collaborative connects luminaries in the retail industry with the next generation of retail innovators through special events that foster collaboration and connection. Whether it’s through a classroom appearance, virtual presentation, or industry conference, the Lundgren Retail Collaborative strives to integrate retail executives into the student learning experience.

By creating opportunities for students to meet retail professionals and ask questions, the Lundgren Retail Collaborative fosters an enriching environment where learning expands beyond textbooks and weekly assignments for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Thinking Forward Conference

Terry Lundgren, former chairperson of Macy's, Inc., met with Eller marketing students at the annual Thinking Forward Conference held April 12, 2024.

Quantitative Investment Strategy

A recently released Lungren Retail Collaborative study shows that Next Gen workers strongly prefer in-person workplace settings. The findings suggest a market segmentation strategy may be most effective for worker productivity and job satisfaction.

Terry Lundgren Judges Class Projects

Terry shared insights about his time in the retail industry and provided invaluable feedback on the student projects, which focused on developing innovative products in response to challenges in the retail industry. The Lundgren Retail Collaborative Vision Challenge was the basis for student projects.

Supply chain woes, environmental sustainability automation, information security, workface retention and talent recruitment – these are just a handful of the issues facing the retail sector today. To address these challenges, Terry and Tina Lundgren established the Lundgren Retail Collaborative with a $5 million gift to the University of Arizona
