Elementary Econ Express

For Grade K-5 Educators, Open to All

Econ Express is a collection of short, low-prep economics and personal finance activities built around popular children’s books. These flexible activities will allow you to seamlessly integrate economic thinking during read-alouds, literacy blocks, or reading stations. Students will explore core economic ideas—such as markets, interdependence, preferences, and decision-making—in the context of existing instructional routines. K-5 classroom teachers in attendance will receive a featured book of their choice.
