From Field to Fabric: Arizona Cotton in the K–5 Classroom

Explore how Arizona’s cotton industry can bring production, trade, and consumer choices to life. This session highlights Arizona-focused stories, images, and hands-on activities that connect cotton from field to finished products. Participants will leave with classroom-ready lessons, children’s literature tie-ins, and simple simulations that make economic concepts concrete and engaging. Current K-5 classroom teachers in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of From Cotton to T-Shirt.
