“Rich data and diverse theories have been accumulated in an effort to better understand trust patterns in our society,” says Oliver Schilke, associate professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “The time is ripe to examine what we know—and what we do not yet know—about trust.”

The event panelists include:

  • Russell Dubner, US CEO of the public relations and marketing consulting firm Edelman (which publishes the annual Trust Barometer)
  • Karen Cook, Ray Lyman Wilbur Professor of Sociology and faculty director of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences at Stanford University and elected fellow of the National Academy of Sciences
  • Bart de Jong, associate professor of human resource management and organizational behavior in the Peter Faber Business School at the Australian Catholic University
