The Center for Trust Studies (CTS) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona will host will host a Distinguished Speaker Seminar on Mar 14 at 9 a.m. Arizona Time (12 p.m. EST).
The session will feature a presentation by Delia Baldassarri, Professor in the Department of Sociology at New York University. The title of the presentation is “Prosociality Beyond In-group Boundaries: Lab-in-the-field Experiments On Intergroup Contact.” Registration is required (registration link below).
“In modern society, a key challenge is how to spur trust and cooperation among people from different backgrounds,” says Oliver Schilke, associate professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “An enduring question addressed in this presentation is, (how) can we overcome the human tendency to favor those that are similar?”
