Summer Elementary Econ Book Fair

Virtual Professional Development



All Day, May 30 to June 23, 2024


Elementary educators are charged with teaching their students literacy skills and economic principles - why not combine the two for maximum efficiency and engagement? This self-paced professional development program will give K-5 educators an opportunity to explore six children’s books accompanied by interdisciplinary lesson plans.


This program will consist of six 30-minute modules that will be sent out in pairs (one focused on K-2 and the other on Grades 3-5) every week starting May 30. All modules will be available through June 23. 

Participants can complete as many or as few modules as they would like.

K-2 Books

Gift Card & Certificate of Professional Development

Current K-5 classroom teachers will be eligible to receive an Amazon gift card to purchase their favorite titles. Gift card amount is based on module completion:

  • $12 gift card for 1 module
  • $24 gift card for 2 modules
  • $36 gift card for 3+ modules 

Participants will receive a certificate of professional development at the end of the program indicating their total credit based on how many modules were completed (0.5-3.0 PD hours).
