The Center for Trust Studies (CTS) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona will host a Distinguished Speaker Seminar on Nov 8 at 3:30 p.m. Arizona Time.

The session will feature a presentation by Nicole Gillespie, KPMG Chair in Organizational Trust and Professor of Management, University of Queensland Business School and International Research Fellow at the Centre for Corporate Reputation, Oxford University.. The title of the presentation is “Understanding Trust and Trust Violations in Nonprofit Organizations” Registration is required (registration link below).

“Nonprofit organizations that are able to develop a trusting work environments have a clear advantage in today's environment,” says Oliver Schilke, associate professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “Thus, decision makers in these organizations should know about effective trust development, maintenance, and repair mechanisms discussed in this talk.”

Supported by the National Science Foundation, CTS hosts a series of workshops on trust, develops teaching tools on trust, and gets students from a variety of diverse backgrounds actively engaged in trust research.
