The Center for Trust Studies (CTS) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona will host a Distinguished Speaker Seminar on February 10 at 9:00 a.m. Arizona Time.

The session will feature a presentation by Paul A.M. Van Lange, Full Professor, Chair in Social Interaction and Interdependence, VU University, Amsterdam. The title of the presentation is “What Do We Talk About When We Say 'That Is an Interesting Study on Trust'?” Registration is required (registration link below).

“Understanding what makes a study genuinely ‘interesting’ helps us better recognize the deeper value of research on trust ,” says Oliver Schilke, professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “By uncovering the implicit norms that guide our judgments, we can potentially design evaluate studies in ways that more effectively advance the cumulative science of trust.”

Supported by the National Science Foundation, CTS hosts a series of workshops on trust, develops teaching tools on trust, and gets students from a variety of diverse backgrounds actively engaged in trust research.
