Eller College of Management Makes Significant Jump in 2019 U.S. News Best Online Program Rankings

The Online MBA program in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona has leapt from number 33 overall to number 21 (tied) overall in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs Rankings, released today, and now comes in at number 15 (tied) among public universities. In recent U.S. News rankings for Online MBAs for Veterans. the Eller Online MBA placed at  number 13 (tied) overall and number 11 among publics.

Additionally, the Online Master’s in Management Information Systems program in the Eller College has moved from number 8 in 2018 to number 4 overall for best online graduate information systems programs and is number 2 among public universities. 

The improved rankings reflect Eller’s efforts at increased student engagement, expanded course offerings that align student preparation with the needs of the global digital marketplace and innovation in online learning tools and technologies. Eller faculty complete a certification course specifically designed to develop and nurture online teaching skills with a firm understanding of the online learning experience.

This year’s rankings are based on a student engagement, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training and student services and technology. The Eller Online MBA’s highest ranking was for student engagement. The Eller Online MIS’s highest rankings were for student engagement and faculty credentials.
