Career Spotlight – Collin Dieck, TTI (Techtronic Industries)

Collin Dieck was a Business Management major who graduated in 2017.  He is now working as a Territory Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Why did you choose to work for TTI?

I chose to work for TTI because I saw the opportunity to work for a company that is always innovating and never satisfied, as one that I could not pass up. Aside from producing the best products in the industry, TTI has an exciting culture unlike any other and provides endless opportunity in Sales, Marketing, Management and Operations.

Tell us about your job responsibilities and title.

I am currently a Territory Representative covering the state of Minnesota. It is my responsibility to grow the Territory through building strong relationships, being a consultant for accounts, presenting new products, holding sales events and much more.

What do you enjoy most about working at TTI?

What I enjoy most about working for TTI is the quality of people I am lucky enough to work with. TTI only hires the best and the brightest and it shows every day. No one is left behind and you always have a resource to reach out to.

What is your fondest Eller memory?

My fondest memory at Eller was taking the BCOM course and going through the Case Competition process. Working with a group of diverse individuals and completing what felt like a monumental goal was extremely rewarding. Do not take these moments for granted!

What advice to you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path?

Get involved! The clubs and opportunities Eller has to offer will give you invaluable skills for the working world. Build strong relationships and be curious. Most importantly, be confident in yourself!
