The U.S. News & World Report’s Best College 2023 rankings have been announced and the University of Arizona Eller College of Management is tied for No. 30 in the overall ranking of the nation’s best business programs.

The university’s undergraduate program for management information systems maintained its position of No. 5 overall and No. 3 among public universities. UArizona also earned solid scores for its undergraduate programs in accounting (tied for No. 20) and entrepreneurship (tied at No. 21). Both of these programs earned 11-spot increases over last year’s ranking.

“We are very pleased with the placement of our university as a whole as well as the Eller College of Management and its many programs,” says Karthik Kannan, dean of UArizona’s Eller College of Management. “We strive to provide our students with high-quality education that will help them soar in their professional lives. These rankings further validate the dedicated efforts of our professors and staff. We will continue to work hard to build on those successes.”

The U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools lists, which was released Mar. 29, listed Eller College of Management’s management information systems program No. 1 among public universities and No. 3 overall.

According to the organization’s website “U.S. News & World Report ranks colleges and universities based on several measures of academic quality. The measures considered for national universities include graduation and retention rates, assessment by peers and counselors, faculty resources (such as class size, benefits and salaries), student selectivity, financial resources for students, alumni giving, and graduation rate performance, which is the difference between actual and predicted graduation rates.”
