Eller alumni Daniel Berg '22 (Finance), Collin Wahl '21 (Finance), Jackson Westhoff '22 (Business Management), and Ben Muller '21 (Management Information Systems) work at Neon Logistics in Scottsdale, AZ.

Why did you choose to work for Neon Logistics?

Daniel: Working at a job with unlimited potential.

Collin: I chose Neon because it is a fast growing company with a lot of opportunities throughout the company.

Jackson: The location. I knew I wanted to be in Phoenix.

Ben: Was excited to start working for a growing company out of college.

Tell us about your job responsibilities and title

Daniel: Sales Executive - Bringing new business into the company and customer relations.

Collin: I am the team account executive, I am responsible for assisting sales executives, I am also responsible for creating all of the department reports for the company.

Jackson: I'm a sales executive here at Neon and I deal in human fulfillment. 

Ben: Senior Sales Executive. Facilitating new business and onboarding new business accounts while also forming relationships with current customers.

What do you enjoy most about working at Neon Logistics? 

Daniel: Positive Culture and having full control over your work.

Collin: I love that hard work gets rewarded here and that Neon gives you all the tools to succeed and develop personally and professionally. 

Jackson: The autonomy and the freedom. They give you the tools to be your own boss.

Ben: I enjoy working together with my coworkers to solve supply chain issues.

What is your fondest Eller memory? 

Daniel: Winning my Entrepreneurship Competition.

Collin: My favorite memory was the case competition. It was a lot of fun with my group and prepared me very well for professional work environments.

Jackson: Traveling to the University of Kansas for a collegiate sales competition. It was a lot of hard work and at times stressful, but one of the most rewarding experiences during my time at Eller.

Ben: I miss working with my case competition group.

What advice do you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path?

Daniel: You will only go as far as your willing to work.

Collin: Take advantage of any and all opportunities that will contribute to your professional development and maintain a strong and consistent work ethic.

Jackson: Be confident in your abilities and don't be afraid to put yourself out there! The career fairs at Eller are great opportunities to expand your professional network and practice skills that are essential to excelling at business.

Ben: Try new things and apply yourself to whatever you do.
