Tell us about your job responsibilities (day-to-day and/or projects).
Aiding my agent in routing tours, entering show/tour offers, contracting shows/tours/appearances, attending shows/festivals, keeping an ear to the ground to scout talent/A&R, aiding in marketing events/approving assets.
What do you enjoy most about your job or company?
Seeing the show play out, hearing how much fans enjoyed the performance. The end result makes the hard work worth it.
Please share what led you to your current job/company (past experiences, networking, classes, multiple rounds of interviews, or anything you deem relevant).
Interning at major labels during my summers between Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. Making an effort to connect with other people at the companies I interned with and maintaining relationships.
What advice do you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path?
Start looking into internships early. The faster you gain knowledge/more experience you have, the better the post-college career hunt will go. Take note of everyone you work with/speak to. Maintain those connections. Friendly faces go a long way.
