Eller Alumni and Board Member’s Agency CrowdPharm Named 2023 Agency of the Year

CrowdPharm, an independent full-service agency with the healthcare industry’s largest network of global talent, has been named Agency of the Year by Med Ad News. The announcement was made at the 34th Annual Manny Awards in April.

CrowdPharm has strong ties to the Eller family. The company’s Partners Mike Myers and Steve Bernstein are both Eller College of Management alumni.  Myers is also Managing Director for CrowdPharm and University of Arizona Eller College of Management board member. 

“To say we’re excited would be an understatement,” Myers said of the recognition in a statement on the agency’s website. “We’re truly overwhelmed with appreciation for our team, who are the people who won this award, our clients for giving us the privilege to support them, their brands, and the patients they serve, and Med Ad News for recognizing us!” 

According to Med Ad News, the Manny Awards celebrate excellence in creativity surrounding the marketing of health and wellness. Nominees for Med Ad News’ Agency of the Year are judged on their creative track record, management strength, financial performance, strategic thinking, account wins and losses and ability to attract talent.

Though a fairly young company, CrowdPharm has more than 6,800 members across more than 120 countries and is continuing to grow. In April 2023, CrowdPharm announced its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region through an alliance with WeTheBrand. Appointing Heng Aw as regional director of the joint brand identity CrowdPharm Asia Pacific, the two companies intend to use their business relationship to increase marketing and advertising value for their customers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
