Since graduating we have both remained very active by helping with several different aspects of the entrepreneurship program. 5 Questions with Seton Claggett

Q. What is most surprising about being an entrepreneur?

A. There is no finish line - but there is a journey.

Q. What was the most important lesson you learned in the entrepreneurship program?

A. Have an exit strategy. EVERY business will be sold, transfer ownership or go out of business. Pick one.

Q. What impact has the Entrepreneurship Program had on your career or life?

A. I would have never had the balls to start my first company nor would I have had a road map (business plan) for that company. Going into the Entrepreneurship Program was one of the most important choices I made at the University of Arizona.

Q. What do you consider your biggest entrepreneurial success?

A. Helping and guiding other entrepreneurs along their journey. Sharing the successes and failures I have had with others is very rewarding.

Q. What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

A. Entrepreneurship is like riding a roller coaster - you will have some great highs and some horrific lows. You need to enjoy the highs because they won't last long and put your head down and plow through the lows....because there will be another high coming.
