Do your students have questions about natural disasters, water scarcity, or climate change? Join us to learn how you can use children’s books to help students understand the links between environmental issues and economic concepts in the Arizona History and Social Science Standards. Current K-5 classroom teachers in attendance will receive two complimentary books of their choice.

  • “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park
  • “The Water Princess” by Susan Verde.
