Join us for McGuire on the Mall to see innovation unveiled
March 13, 2014
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship is introducing McGuire on the Mall, a new event for McGuire Entrepreneurship Program students to publicly present their innovative new ventures for the very first time. Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will provide welcoming remarks at the event, which will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 25 on the UA Mall by Old Main.
McGuire on the Mall will feature all 21 new venture teams from the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program class of 2014. This year’s teams span a range of industries: medical products for humans and equines, app development, e-commerce, physical goods, and food and hospitality start-ups. See below for details about the new ventures.
The interactive trade show is free and open to the public and will include food samples and snow cones, photo-ops with animals and fun backdrops, games, contests and lots of prizes. Visitors can try beta products and have their feedback incorporated into final products, and sign up for exclusive early loyalty programs for benefits and discounts on products after launch.
