Undergraduate program continues to show strong ranking in annual peer survey

UA Eller's MIS Department Moves Up in U.S. News Rankings

TUCSON, Ariz. – September 10, 2015 – The University of Arizona Eller College of Management continued to rank high in U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges issue, released today. Eller College ranks #12 among public business schools (#22 overall).

Of particular note, Eller’s Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) moved up a slot, ranking #2 among public schools (#4 overall), behind MIT and Carnegie Mellon.

The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship also had a strong ranking at #3 among public school programs and #7 overall, behind Babson College and MIT.

The 2016 edition of the Best Colleges issue includes data on nearly 1,800 colleges and universities, including statistics on borrowing, costs, and graduation rates. The rankings measure the strength of the academic programs at undergraduate institutions, with eligible schools ranked on up to 16 measures of academic excellence.

Each spring, U.S. News surveys deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The overall and specialty rankings are based solely on this peer survey.
