Christopher Piccioni '28 (Business Management, Accounting Intended) was a Summer Associate at HUB International in Billings, MT.

What was a typical day like?

A typical day involved completing different administrative tasks, planning company events, working on large projects, and expanding my knowledge through training.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was learning about how each executive leader found their way into the insurance industry.

What did you learn?

I learned all out the insurance industry, and how without insurance we cannot take risks. People starting businesses pour their heart and soul into it. They need insurance for when something catastrophic happens.

What advice do you have for other students looking for a similar experience, or advice for future students to be successful?

Use the connections to already have when searching for internship opportunities. These are people who already know who you are, and how hard you are willing to work.

How did Eller prepare you for this experience?

I learned multiple skills in different analytics classes that I was able to showcase during multiple projects.

Anything else you would like to share about your summer experience?

Knowledge is power! Know what you are doing and why you are doing it is what makes you powerful when working. The more you know the more you can assist with client and employee needs.
