Honors Students Accelerate Technology Adoption in the Classroom

First year students in Bill Newmann's MIS 111 Honors class were challenged last semester to explore technology solutions that could enhance the classroom experience.

The students became in-class entrepreneurs who proposed apps and other web-based tools that can be adapted for a variety of classes across campus. The students then assisted faculty members to evaluate the use of 26 new technologies they proposed.
