Meet some of Tucson's top and up-and-coming entrepreneurs, organizations that support the local entrepreneurial community, educational offerings from across the UA, McGuire Entrepreneurship Program new venture teams, and more. Themed pavilions will include Technology, Social Innovation, Health & Biotech, Lifestyle & Leadership, and Software & Services.

"Tucson is emerging as a significant entrepreneurial and innovative community," said McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship Director Remy Arteaga. "We believe it is important to bring together entrepreneurship students, top entrepreneurial organizations, and world-class innovation services like Tech Launch Arizona, that showcase Tucson's entrepreneurial spark."

The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management is dedicated to helping students improve their potential and advance society by developing an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. As one of the first university-based centers for entrepreneurship in the nation, the top-ranked McGuire Center is the cornerstone of entrepreneurship education at the UA.

The McGuire Center’s premier offering, the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program, is open to UA seniors and graduate students from any field of study. Students accepted into the competitive-entry program receive a year of intensive experiential education that engages them in the process of moving innovation from an early-stage idea to a sustainable investor-ready venture. The student teams presenting at McGuire Innovation Expo have been developing their new venture since the beginning of Fall '16, and will pitch their finalized business concepts at the McGuire New Venture Competition April 28.
