TUCSON, Ariz. – September 12, 2017 – The University of Arizona Eller College of Management continued to rank high in several business school categories, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges issue, released today.

Overall, the Eller undergraduate program ranked number 21 this year among business schools nationwide, and it ranked number 11 among public programs.

Eller’s Management Information Systems (MIS) department kept its number 1 public program ranking in the U.S., and retained its number 3 overall ranking, behind MIT and Carnegie Mellon.

In addition, Eller’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship continued to show a strong ranking at number 5 among public school programs and number 10 overall.

Eller College Dean Paulo Goes said the rankings are a testament to the business school’s  dedicated faculty.

“We are fortunate to have a great team of master professors, advisers and career coaches who provide a student experience that rivals any business school in the country,” Goes said. “From the moment students enroll in Eller College, our team helps them meet their professional goals. We are grateful that our peers recognize the hard work of our faculty, not only with curriculum, but with support services beyond the classroom to help students maximize their potential.”

Each spring, U.S. News surveys deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The overall and specialty rankings are based solely on this peer survey.
