Eller’s MAP Dashboard Earns Accolades

The Making Action Possible (MAP) Dashboard—a project created and managed by the Economic and Business Research Center (EBRC) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona—was selected by the Community Indicators Consortium (CIC) for the 2018 Impact Awards.

The MAP Dashboard provides users a collection of information about Southern Arizona and how it compares to other regions regarding trends and progress. This dashboard is a resource for people looking to understand Southern Arizona’s economic growth and use that information to make fundamental business decisions, build collaborations and partnerships and find funding opportunities.

Additionally, Maile Nadelhoffer, senior research economist and webmaster, was honored by the Tech Launch Arizona for her contributions to the MAP Dashboard in April. Nadelhoffer and more than 100 UA women were celebrated for their disclosed inventions to the University. Nadelhoffer worked with the technology used to manage the data which drives the MAP Dashboard.  

The MAP dashboard was honored at the 2018 Impact Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Tuesday, September 18. The award recognizes EBRC’S MAP Dashboard for its accomplishments in driving positive community change. The conference was a two-day event held at the University of Minnesota McNamara Alumni Center.
