Paige Bausman, assistant dean of the MBA programs in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, was recently referenced in a September 4 Phoenix Business Journal article, which explains how recent Arizona COVID-19 adjustments are helping to “level the playing field” for minority students entering university programs.

According to the article, as universities have begun to drop GMAT exam requirements and waive application fees for their students as a result of the difficult times caused by COVID-19, there has been an increase in diversity in MBA programs.

“Removing those barriers may be contributing to growth in UArizona’s MBA program,”says Bausman. “UArizona’s MBA program has 125 new MBA students this fall, up from 111 new students last fall.”

Paige Bausman is involved in implementing strategy within the Eller College and is responsible for operations of the MBA programs.
