2023 U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Eller College of Management
Today U.S. News & World Report released its 2023 Best Graduate School Rankings, with the Eller College holding on to some of 2022’s rankings, jumping up the list in multiple categories and ranking No. 3 for the Master’s in Management Information Systems program, coming in at No. 1 among public institutions.
“We are extremely pleased and honored that our programs continue to be recognized and to see our placements rise in the U.S. News & World Report annual rankings,” says Jeff Schatzberg, dean for an interim period and Frances McClelland Chair of Accounting. “This achievement reflects the dedication and efforts of our faculty and staff and further accentuates the value our programs have for students and alumni.”
The Eller College ranked No. 47 (up from No. 64 in 2022’s rankings) under the Full-Time MBA category and No. 43 in the Evening MBA category, up from No. 51 last year. Additional specialty categories in which Eller ranked include No. 31 in Business Analytics, No. 23 in Entrepreneurship and No. 38 in Economics.
This year, U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate School rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinion about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students. According to usnews.com, “Nearly all the rankings and data are derived from in-depth reputation and statistical surveys conducted in fall 2021 and early 2022 of each program in the six largest graduate school disciplines.”
