Eller College Community Members Receive 40 Under 40 Award

David Brown, Brian and Clara Franke Endowed Chair in Finance and associate professor of finance, Veronica Atondo, assistant director of undergraduate engagement and belongingness, and Kristen Garcia Hernandez, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona and Eller College Board of Advisors member have all been announced as some of this year’s Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Award recipients.

The 40 Under 40 Award goes to individuals who are focused on leadership as well as on community involvement and the contributions made to move the community forward. They are selected because of their work as selfless stewards and promoters of generosity, good and progress.

Awardees will receive their award on December 6, at the 40 Under 40 Awards Breakfast. The theme for this year’s event is optimism and it will be interlaced in many different aspects of the event.
