Shyam Sunder Gives Keynote Address at FORE Interenational Finance Conference
Shyam Sunder, Lou Myers Professor of Accounting and Director of the Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy in the Eller College, gave the keynote address at the FORE International Finance Conference in New Delhi, India on November 26.
The two-day conference included a dialogue facilitated by the FORE School of Management on “Changing Landscape in Banking and Finance: Disruptions, Innovations and Regulations.”
The first day of the conference was focused inaugural, plenary and technical sessions covering introduction to the theme and presentation of research.
The second day involved an editorial talk with distinguished speakers from many esteemed journals followed by a valedictory session—Sunder was among those to speak.
Sunder joined the Eller College of Management in 2010. Before joining Eller, he was an assistant professor at Northwestern University. In addition to his teaching experience, Sunder has also worked as an audit manager and a factory controller with Hindustan Lever Limited. His areas of expertise include financial accounting, financial analysis, financial disclosure and statements and financial reporting.
